Had Loreena been human, she would have been a prima ballerina. She was the embodiment of grace, and moved like the wind around the show ring, dancing effortlessly to her championship title in just 7 months of limited showing, at the tender age of 14 months.

She was as sweet and affectionate as she was graceful. A dedicated cuddler, her preferred spot in the bed was sleeping on top of her owner.

She was also a fine brood bitch. Her first breeding was to a black dog, Ch Marshfield's Southern Man, for a litter of 7 on December 15, 1994. Her second litter was a line breeding to the liver dog, Ch Waterfield's Falling Star, for a litter of 8 on January 6, 1998.

She is the dam of 3 champions: Ch Avalyde Annabelle Leigh, Ch Avalyde Andrew Donald and Ch Avalyde Brooke Loraleigh. Unfortunately there are no longer any direct descendants of Loreena in the Avalyde breeding program. Her contributions to the breed's gene pool continue on in the pedigrees of Riverly, Arborfield and Wawayanda kennels.
